Part B — Refund Policy (Stripe & PayPal)
1) Donations
Donations are normally treated as voluntary contributions and are generally non-refundable, except where required by law or where an exception below applies.
- Duplicate donation: you were charged more than once for the same intended donation.
- Incorrect amount: a clear error occurred (e.g., an extra zero) and you contact us promptly.
- Unauthorised transaction: evidence suggests the payment was not authorised by the account holder.
- Processing error: a technical issue caused an incorrect charge.
If approved, refunds are issued back to the original payment method via Stripe or PayPal (provider rules may apply).
2) Subscriptions / memberships
- Recurring billing: by subscribing, you authorise recurring charges until cancellation.
- Cancel anytime: via your account area (if enabled) or by contacting us.
- Access timing: digital access may begin immediately after successful payment.
3) Subscription refunds
Refunds may be provided case-by-case where:
- Billing error: you were charged incorrectly or more than once.
- Unauthorised charge: you did not authorise the subscription.
- Service access issue: you could not reasonably access the paid service due to a verified platform fault.
- Consumer law: where refunds are required by applicable law.
Note: for digital access, “change of mind” refunds may not apply once access is provided—unless required by law.
4) Chargebacks / disputes
Chargebacks/disputes filed directly with Stripe/PayPal may limit our ability to process a separate refund until the dispute is resolved.
