Donation Policy
Donations help fund Iyaboko Institute research, publishing, tools, community education, and safe prototype development. Payments may be processed via Stripe and/or PayPal.

How donations are used
- Research & publications: writing, editing, archiving, and public releases.
- Tools & infrastructure: hosting, software, security, data storage.
- Prototypes & measurement: materials, instrumentation, and safety testing (as applicable).
- Education & community: training materials, outreach, and accessibility.
We aim to use funds responsibly and align spending with the Institute mission.
Recurring donations
If you choose a recurring donation, your payment method will be charged automatically at the selected interval until you cancel.
- Cancel: via your payment provider controls (Stripe/PayPal) or by contacting us for guidance.
- Receipts: your provider may email a receipt/confirmation.
Donor recognition (optional)
If we offer public donor recognition (e.g., a supporter list), you can choose whether your name is displayed. If you prefer to remain anonymous, we will respect that choice where possible.
Refunds
Donations are generally non-refundable, except where required by law or in verified duplicate/incorrect charges.
